Adventures in Seed Starting with Division 401

We've come along way since our first  to start 12 culinary herbs last fall... which seemed to die as quickly as they sprouted, the first weekend which we forgot to turn off the light.  Growing plants in a classroom can be difficult.. as temperatures and light can vary greatly throughout the year.  And I'm glad we didn't stop when the first set died.. or the second.

Seed starting pods have been pretty fool-proof.. and now we've had luck with some seeds that are more difficult to germinate, like papalo, an herb similar to cilantro.

An accidental pepper plant...We'll take it!
